Add Backgrounds

Dashboards can include a background color and/or an image. When you vertically scroll through the dashboard, the reports scroll and the background image stays in place.

Add a Background Color

1. Click Dashboard Settings → Dashboard Background. The Background Color button becomes available.
2. Select a color.

   

   Note: By default, the color has a slight gradation; the bottom is slightly darker than the top.

Select a Background Image

1. Click Dashboard Settings → Dashboard Background. The Background Image options become available.
2. Complete one of the following actions:
   1. Enter a URL to an image option.

      

      Note: The URL must be a valid, non-restricted link to an image file.
   2. Click the folder icon to select an image from the report catalog.

      

      Tip: The Space Administrator can upload an image to the report catalog at Admin → Manage Access → Manage Report Catalog.
      Tip: When you add an image, its property options appear. You can stretch it, repeat it, keep the ratio the same, or change the opacity.
